Our CPen 10 scanning pen is like our other
scanning pens in its text-scanning ability, however it is
priced lower, representing good value for money. Unlike
our other pens, it must be connected to your PC via a USB
cable to work. It enables you can use it to transfer printed
text to your computer and provides a sophisticated alternative
to your mouse, saving you time. The text you scan appears
on your screen where your cursor is positioned and it can
be used with any program you might use on your computer,
such as word-processing software, spreadsheets etc. Used
in conjunction with translation software (such as free translation
dictionaries on the internet), you can therefore use the
pen to help you translate printed text in the same way as
our other scanning pens do. By connecting it to your laptop,
the CPen 1 becomes more portable, allowing a greater variety
of uses, such as scanning in notes in the library. The advantages
of the CPen 10 over our other scanning products is price
(it costs less) and you do not need batteries - it is powered
by your computer.

The C-Pen 10 is handy, efficient and easy to use,
combining pen-reader technology with mouse functionality.
The C-Pen 10 reads printed text and sends it directly
to the cursor in the active application on your computer.
This corresponds to the C Direct function in portable
C-Pen models. In addition to the reading ability C-Pen
10 can also be used as a mouse, using a special
mouse pad, which comes with the pen.
Simply plug your C-Pen 10 into the USB connector and
let C-Pen 10 start saving you time and effort. You can
read text and numbers directly into PC applications,
move easily between reader and mouse functions without
releasing the pen, and even customize your mouse pad
to connect quickly and easily to your favorite web pages
and start programs.
The C-Pen 10 can read text and digits in most fonts
between 5-22 points. You simply place the cursor at
the position where the read text is to be inserted and
then you move it over the line of text, lifing the pen
at the end of the line. The text then appears at the
position of the cursor on your computer screen. What's
more, the C-Pen 10 comes with an Active mousepad. When
C-Pen is moved over the Active mousepad area it functions
like a mouse. The CPen10 function button can then be
used like the left button on a more traditional mouse.
The Active mousepad also includes shortcut areas, enabling
you to start your favourite software programs at the
click of a button.
